Shad Welcomes new Vice President, Finance and Resources

We believe that when young people are empowered to take the lead and explore their potential, they go on to impact their communities in meaningful ways and inspire others to do the same. We are excited to welcome Cynthia McConnell, our new Vice President Finance and Resources, who will use her experience and expertise to help Shad continue to grow our impact.

Meet Cynthia McConnell
As an experienced finance professional, Cynthia has held senior financial roles within a range of industries including medical and quantum technology, consumer goods, distribution, and construction, as well as the not-for-profit sector. For the past several years, she has provided financial and strategic leadership on a fractional basis to several high growth and transitioning companies.
Cynthia completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Chartered Accountancy at the University of Waterloo and is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Institutes of Chartered Accountants.
