Today, we continued working on our marketing campaign for the Scholarship Strategy course, an online information product designed to help students better their chances at winning scholarships. We’re nearing the end of our internship and are simply testing our sales funnel in order to fix its leaks and maximize its retention rate. We created advertisements and posted them on Facebook to draw prospects into the top of our funnel. From there, we obtained their names and emails from a squeeze page. Following that, the prospects got automated emails that establish trust and will eventually gain sales. By monitoring the process, we refined our emails, changed the messages on our ads, and altered the aesthetics of our pages to optimize our funnel for the best results.
We also worked on the marketing of language playing cards, a Kickstarter project for standardized 52-card decks that feature custom prints which translate the most common Spanish or French Phrases into English. We shared this project with our friends, in our groups, and on various forums through sending messages, sharing links, and making posts.
